A brave fan has publicly criticised Taylor Swift’s grammar via her Tumblr feed, only to have Taylor return the favour.

Taylor posted the image of a photo to her Tumblr blog, complete with the handwritten lyric from one of her songs.

But a vigilant fan spotted a missing apostrophe and took the time to point it out. It wasn’t long before Taylor retaliated, pointing out that she had used an apostrophe but that it was difficult to see as it had blended in to the tail of the ‘y’ above. Taylor then finished her comment by pointing out her grammar observations in the critics own post.

Nice to see good grammar being taken seriously.
